Student Trustee

Mr. Kousa was appointed to the Board of Trustees in June 2007. He was previously a student representative for the class of 2008, and had leadership posts in the Student Organization of Kean University, Inc. in 2004-2005, 2005-2006, and 2006-2007. He was also involved in several leadership programs on campus such as emerging leaders, established leaders and gold leadership. Mr. Kousa has received many awards including Washington Community School Summer Camp Recreation Assistant of the Year 2004, Bayonne High School Athletic Trainer Award 2004, Bayonne Board of Education Student Council Award 2001-2002, Bayonne Board of Education Student Council Award 2002-2003, Bayonne Board of Education Student Council Award 2003-2004, and City of Bayonne Municipal Council Citation 2002-2003. He was also included in Who’s Who Among American High School Students in 2003 and 2004 and is a member of Phi Alpha Theta. Mr. Kousa attended Bayonne High School. He is majoring in secondary education with a concentration in history at Kean University.
