Student Trustee

Nitza M. Gallardo was appointed to the Board of Trustees at the September 15, 2008 meeting. She is originally from Puerto Rico and is majoring in Political Science with a minor in English. Nitza is a Student Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. She has been an honor student since high school.

As part of her involvement as a student, she has been member of several student clubs on campus. Just to mention a few: Pre-Law Club, Criminal Justice Club, Kean Dance Theater and Accents Magazine. She was awarded as the Kean University ESL Spotlighted Student in 2007. Also, she participated as a delegate in Chicago Model United Nations 2008. Her ultimate goal is to become a successful lawyer.
