Trustee

Mr. Cockren was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 1998. He has served since 1990 as a managing partner of Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal's law office in Short Hills, N.J., and also maintains an office in the firm's principal location in New York City. He is charged with the firm's New Jersey trusts and estate practice. He also practices in the areas of municipal law and land use. Mr. Cockren is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, the Florida Bar and the Summit Bar Association. He also has served as counsel to the Union County Utilities Authority, the Township of Union and the Township of Winfield. Mr. Cockren resides in Westfield.
