Nathan Weiss Graduate College Commencement Ceremony
Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC).
Please arrive at the hall no later than 5:30 p.m. with your cap and gown for robing and processional lineup.
The procession will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
Your commencement exercises will include graduates from January and candidates who have filed for graduation in May and August. As a celebration of your academic achievements, commencement is a formal event planned with you, your family and the Kean faculty in mind. This newsletter should provide all necessary information and answer many of your questions. Please pay particular attention to the instructions, as many past practices will no longer apply. The success of commencement will depend upon your individual cooperation.
* IMPORTANT:
The City of Newark will launch a major repaving project on Broad Street, between Edison Place and Franklin Street.
For Graduate Commencement on Tuesday, May 14, Broad Street will be closed until 4 p.m.
Anyone driving to the ceremony should expect major delays. Please plan accordingly and allow plenty of time to arrive at the venue no later than 5:30 p.m.
The train is an alternative for those who don't wish to drive. Newark Penn Station is only one stop from the Union Station and is walking distance to the NJPAC. CLICK here for a train schedule.
Tickets Information
