Schedule class visits to Career Developement and Advancement to learn about the 4 Easy Steps to Career Success involving the
career planning process:
I Freshman level classes- Self Awareness
II Sophomore level classes- Career Awareness
III Junior Level classes - Academic Awareness
IV Senior level classes - Professional Awareness
Encourage students to attend CDA events including the following:
Workshops
Career Days
Teacher Job Fairs
Become a member of the CDA Advisory Council.
Keep CDA informed about alumni and what they are doing in terms of employment and advanced educational goals.
Co-sponsor along with the CDA individual Major Program/Career Awareness events for your academic department.
Contact the CDA about suggestions you may have to better serve our students and alumni in meeting their career goals and aspirations.
Interaction/collaboration between the CDA and the Kean University community is important so that our students and alumni get the best possible career preparation/education.
