Financial aid supplements family financial resources while students are attending Kean University. Our goal is to keep Kean University affordable for all students, regardless of financial need. To that end, we offer a wide variety of grant, loan, scholarship and work study programs.

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to apply for State and Federal need based financial aid programs. Students can use the new FAFSA WORKSHEET to assist them in applying for aid on the Web. Make sure to use Kean University Federal School Code (002622). All new students can access the FAFSA application on the Web (www.fafsa.ed.gov) complete, sign, and submit a yearly FAFSA.

Get a PIN (Personal Identification Number) which will allow you to sign your FAFSA application electronically.  Students (and parents of dependent students) may apply for a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov.
