The Student Accounting Office is committed to provide quality service to our students, parents, and constituents in maintaining accurate student financial records as well as a strict adherence to the policies of Kean University and its governing authorities.  In addition, we are committed to providing the vehicle by which students may use in resolving their financial obligations to the University, by upholding standards of excellence, professionalism, and courtesy.

Welcome to the Student Accounting home page of Kean University. It is very important to us that each student has a clear understanding when it comes to financing his or her education. This site is designed to provide you with information about the financial aspects of attending Kean, such as tuition and fees, policies and procedures, and various methods of payment. We have anticipated questions and concerns in an effort to minimize any confusion and to make this process as smooth and simple as possible.

Students are billed for tuition, fees, health insurance, meal plans, and housing. We also collect all tuition payments, provide students information on various payment options, apply all loans and financial aid to student’s accounts and issue refund checks to students and parents in accordance with State, Federal and Institutional regulations.

A 1098-T form will be distributed to all eligible students in late January that can be used to compute eligibility for education tax credits. Students may sign up year round for optional electronic delivery. All students can now view online and print their 1098-T forms for tax years 2006 through 2012. A detailed 2012 Statement of Account is also available online that lists all charges and credits in the student’s account during 2012.
