Twelve-Month Lecturer Positions Spring 2018

Lecturers in the Center for Online Learning and Professional Development are full-time, twelve-month employees who teach, provide instructional design related support and student/learning support services during the assigned periods. These Lecturers hold a strong commitment to teaching; maintain office and advising hours for students; attend university seminars as assigned; actively participate in the university community; and perform related work as required. This is a non-tenure track position that may be renewed on an annual basis. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Courses are taught at the Union campus, but some positions may include assignments at Kean Ocean in Toms River, New Jersey or other locations. Instructional Design related responsibilities will be determined by the Director of the Center for Online Learning and Professional Development.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required. Two years of professional experience in instructional design and working knowledge of Learning Management Systems is preferred.
