What is the purpose of the Co-Curricular Transcript?
 
To provide you with a record of your involvement in different student activities. This official record will be helpful when you are applying for internships, graduate schools or seeking employment.
    To supplement your academic transcript.
 
How do I get started?
Start the process at the Office of Student Activities & Development in the University Center, Room 219, by picking up and reviewing a Co-Curricular Transcript Manual and the list of approved events and activities.
 
Participate in as many activities and events as you desire.
    Submit your entry to the Office of Student Activities & Development using the Co-Curricular Transcript Entry Form.
    Continue to attend and participate in campus activities.
 
What type of activities should be submitted?
The activities are divided into five learning components:
 
Honors & Scholarships
    Student Organizations & Leadership Activities
    Educational Workshops & Seminars
    Community Service Learning
    Career & Life Skills
 
How many activities do I need to complete to be eligible to receive a Co-Curricular Transcript?
You may attend as many workshops as you can manage. You must have a minimum of eight entries to be eligible to receive a printed copy of your transcript.

When should I begin my Transcript?
It is recommended that you begin getting involved with the program as soon as you are made aware of this service. The sooner you initiate the development of your Co-Curricular Transcript, the more opportunity you will have to participate in this program. We encourage you to become involved even if you are in your last year of study at Kean University.

How can I find out which activities are offered?
Simply pick-up a current Co-Curricular program guide sheet at the Office of Student Activities & Development, Room 219, in the University Center during regular office hours.

Can Off-Campus activities be included?
Yes, as long as they are approved by the Co-Curricular Transcript Program at least five business days prior to the beginning of the of the activities.

Should I keep track of all the entries I have completed?
Yes, it is always advisable to keep a record of your participation in any activity. There are student log forms available in the Office of Student Activities & Development.

When will my Co-Curricular Transcript be completed and reproduced?
Generally, the transcripts are printed upon request the semester prior to graduation, but if a copy is needed at an earlier date, it can be made available within three weeks of your request.

How can I obtain a copy of my Co-Curricular Transcript?
Requests for the Co-Curricular Transcript may be submitted to the Office of Student Activities & Development, located in the University Center, Room 219.
