Kean University is dedicated to making sure that Commencement 2008 is an enjoyable and memorable occasion for students, family and friends alike. Accordingly, every effort has been made to accommodate our students and guests with physical disabilities. Students and guests requiring ambulatory assistance are strongly encouraged to provide their own wheelchairs. Please note that the covered area of the amphitheatre can get quite chilly; so dress appropriately.

Seating
Handicapped seating is available at the PNC Bank Arts Center, which is accessed by a ramp to the right of the amphitheatre. (see the gray-shaded area on the map). Upon arrival, please let an usher know that you require a handicapped seat, and you will be escorted to your seat. Due to the anticipated large number of guests, seating must be limited to the individual with the disability and ONE additional person. All others in the party will be escorted to seats in another location. Please determine an appropriate place to meet with your entire group at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Parking
The PNC Bank Arts Center offers convenient parking for people with disabilities in front of the Robert B. Meyner Reception Center, but only licenses and permits issued for the handicapped by the Division of Motor Vehicles will be honored for handicapped parking spaces.

Restrooms
Restrooms equipped for those with physical disabilities are conveniently situated throughout the PNC Bank Arts Center complex.
