Willie Geist

Willie Geist is the co-host of of the 9AM Hour of "Today" on NBC, as well as the co-host of "Morning Joe" on MSNBC. He is also the host of Zietgeist, a satirical video blog on msnbc.com. Geist joined MSNBC in 2005 as a senior producer of "The Situation with Tucker Carlson." He came from the world of sports television. He was a producer and writer for the critically-acclaimed sports debate show, "I, Max", hosted by Max Kellerman on Fox Sports Net.

Prior to that, Geist entered the world of journalism as an editor and producer for CNN/Sports Illustrated. He later became a field producer and reporter for CNN Sports, where he covered The Super Bowl, The NCAA Final Four, and The Masters. Geist's latest book is Loaded!: Become a Millionaire Overnight and Lose 20 Pounds in 2 Weeks, or Your Money Back, a book that spoofs self-help and financial advice genres.

Geist graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He now lives in New York City with his wife and their two children.
