The University sits on three adjoining campus sites covering 180 acres, two miles from Newark Liberty International Airport and thirty minutes from New York City, with additional locations in Ocean County, New Jersey and Wenzhou, China.

The College of Business and Public Management is actively engaged in establishing a high quality Global Business program. The new programs will have required experiential dimension including international exchanges and overseas co-op work opportunities for students. Applicants who exhibit program building potential are highly desirable. 

All open faculty positions are ten-month, full-time, tenure-track assignments at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective September 1, 2013 unless otherwise indicated. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Courses are taught at the Union campus but some positions may include assignments at Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey or other locations. 

All faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an ongoing program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental/school, college and university level is also required. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. All positions are subject to availability of funds, due to financial exigencies. 

Global Accounting - to teach Global Accounting and a range of accounting courses including Auditing, Government Accounting, Taxation, Cost Accounting and Advanced Accounting. The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in accounting and provide service and scholarly activities to support the mission of the University and strategy of the College. Relevant practical accounting and business experience is also preferred.

Global Financial Management – to teach courses in Global Financial Management and a range of finance courses including Corporate Finance, Investments, Derivatives and Financial Institutions and Markets. The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in finance and provide service and scholarly activities to support the mission of the University and strategy of the College.

Qualifications: Both positions require a doctorate degree in a related field from an AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited program and a clearly established research agenda with some demonstration of success in scholarship. ABD considered with completion date by September 1, 2013. Several recent peer-reviewed publications and teaching experience is preferred.

Global Supply Chain Management – specific teaching and research interests in Supply Chain, Operations Management and Information Management for Supply Chains. Interest in global retail and e-commerce logistics desirable.

Qualifications: Doctorate degree in a related field from an AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited program and a clearly established research agenda with some demonstration of success in scholarship required. ABD considered with completion date by September 1, 2013. Several recent peer-reviewed publications and teaching experience is preferred.

Global Business Management and Strategy – global and interdisciplinary orientation in teaching and research in global business and international management areas.

Qualifications: Doctorate degree in a related field from an AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited program and a clearly established research agenda with some demonstration of success in scholarship required. ABD considered with completion date by September 1, 2013. Several recent peer-reviewed publications and teaching experience is preferred.
