Home > Calendar March Liberty Hall’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 22 Inspired by the famous White House Easter Egg Roll, children will explore the grounds at Liberty Hall searching for small treasures inside colorful, plastic eggs hidden throughout the historic landscape. Children can take photos with the Easter Bunny following the Easter Egg Hunt. Time: Noon Price: $2 per child Reservations required Quilting Kids’ Craft Saturday, March 29 Children will view the museum’s historic quilt collection and create their own quilting patterns out of paper and fabric squares provided by Liberty Hall. Time: 10 a.m. to Noon Price: $4 per child, includes all workshop materials Reservations required - Recommended for ages 7 to 12 Wednesday Afternoon Tea Wednesday, March 5, 12, 19, 26 Afternoon Tea is served every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the glass-enclosed porch overlooking the formal English gardens. The menu consists of a selection of sandwiches, pastries, scones and clotted cream, jams and choice of two teas. Guests interested in touring the grounds must arrive by 1 p.m. A short introductory film begins at 1:45 p.m. with tea promptly at 2 p.m. Time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Price: $30 per person ($27 for Liberty Hall Members) and includes a house tour Reservations are required
