The department offers a B.A. in Economics, B.A. in Economics, Business Economics Concentration, B.A. in Economics/Teacher Certification, and a B.S. degree in Finance. The student is introduced to the basic structure, processes institutions and problems of the economy and is trained in the analytical tools used in their study. Courses in Economics and Finance prepare the student for graduate work in economics, finance, management and law as well as corporate and public sector employment. All majors are urged to seek early advisement and to take additional math and computer science courses if they plan on doing graduate work in either Economics or Finance. Advisement by a department faculty member is strongly recommended. Pick up advisement sheet in W405.
