COLLEGE OF NATURAL, APPLIED, AND HEALTH SCIENCES Occupational Therapy
Chairperson: Prof. Lynne Richard Phone: (908) 737-3384
Occupational Therapy education programs are required to be at the post-baccalaureate level effective January 1, 2007. As a result, the undergraduate occupational therapy program has been phased out. The last professional level class was admitted in the Fall 2003. All other admissions to the undergraduate Occupational Therapy program are closed. A combined Baccalaureate/MS degree option is now available. Students will select from a list of undergraduate majors in other disciplines. In addition to meeting the major requirements, the prerequisite courses for the M.S. in Occupational Therapy will be completed. After three years, or when these requirements are completed, students may apply to the occupationaltherapy Master’s program. If accepted, following one additional year of study, the Bachelor’s degree will be awarded in the discipline chosen. Upon completion of the requirements of the occupational therapy program, a M.S. in Occupational Therapy will be awarded. Click on a course for a description and prerequisites.
