Kean University’s Leadership Institute presents a Masquerade Ball to raise awareness and act to end domestic violence and sexual assault but to also celebrate those that have survived.
Leading up to the Masquerade Ball, the Leadership Institute launched their fundraiser on Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Kean University’s University Center Atrium. Throughout the event there were entertaining performances, plenty of baked goods for sale, and activities for the community to enjoy.
The Masquerade Ball will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM in Kean University’s Downs Hall. Join the Leadership Institute for an evening of dancing, entertainment, and giveaways in your semi-formal attire. Tickets are $6.00 per person available in the Wilkins theatre box office.
All proceeds from these events will be given to 180 Turning Lives Around, Inc. 180 provides services such as an emergency shelter and programs concerned with positive approaches to safety and recovery from assault in all situations to individuals and families affected by domestic and sexual violence, along with public education, public policy reforms, and training of all professionals for concerned individuals and organizations.
We would greatly appreciate your contribution to this great cause.
