The best way to practice English is in real-life situations.

The Kean University English Immersion Program offers a variety of different cultural excursions. The topics discussed within your classroom will become even more clear as you experience life in the United States. Excursions will take you into American businesses, the arts, as well as other cultural and social settings.

The excursions take you out of your textbooks and allow you to experience the Statue of Liberty up close,  walk the steps of the United States Capital Building in Washington DC, and even venture out into different shopping districts. Previous groups have gone to Wall Street, museums in New York City, and even explored Liberty Science Center. All excursions are guided by local specialists as well as Kean USA staff and students.

Each week you will have the opportunity to participate in cultural excursions including an outdoor adventure course, and a community service project. Attending these excursions is part of the overall course and participants are expected to attend each co-curricular excursion.

Co-curricular excursion options are subject to change.
