BENJAMIN A. GILMAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Gilman Scholarship Program is open to U.S. citizen undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study and intern abroad programs worldwide. For all class levels.

BOREN SCHOLARSHIP
Boren Scholarships allow U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests but underrepresented in study abroad. For all class levels. Apply in fall. Requires university evaluation.

CRITICAL LANGUAGE SCHOLARSHIP
The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is a fully-funded overseas intensive language study and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students. For all class levels.

FULBRIGHT U.S. STUDENT PROGRAM (ENGLISH TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP, STUDY GRANT, RESEARCH GRANT)
For juniors, seniors, and recent alumni; funds post-graduate year of English teaching, study, or research abroad. Application are due in fall; applicants should begin the process in the previous spring. Requires university evaluation.

GOLDWATER SCHOLARSHIP
The Goldwater Scholarship is for outstanding Sophomores or Juniors in the STEM fields interested in pursuing graduate school. It is one of the most prestigious undergraduate STEM awards and a mark of excellence on graduate school applications. Provides educational costs. Apply in fall. Requires university nomination.

HOLLINGS SCHOLARSHIP
The Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship provides undergraduates two years of tuition support and a 10-week, paid summer internship  at a NOAA facility. Apply in fall in sophomore year.

NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION GRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM (NSF GRFP)
For seniors and recent alumni who plan to pursue research-oriented graduate degrees in STEM or social sciences. The NSF welcomes applications from all qualified students and strongly encourages under-represented populations, including women, under-represented racial and ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities, to apply for this fellowship. Funds graduate study. Application are due in fall; applicants should begin the process in the previous spring.

TRUMAN SCHOLARSHIP
The Truman Scholarship supports juniors, interested in graduate or professional study, who have evidenced their ability and passion to be a “Change Agent” through impactful leadership, a commitment to public service, and academic preparedness for graduate or professional study. Funds graduate school. Apply in fall. Requires university nomination.

UDALL SCHOLARSHIP
For sophomores and juniors who plan to pursue careers related to the environment, Native American health care, or tribal policy. Provides educational costs. Apply in fall. Requires university nomination.
