The Office of Student Government provides quality services to enhance the student life on campus. We develop strong student leaders through a wide array of opportunities for personal and professional development. Through the advisement of Student Government Association, the student-based governing body representing all undergraduate and graduate Kean students, our office ensures all student voices are heard.

Student Government creates a student-centered educational environment by positioning student leaders as both representatives and active contributors to the campus community. Through defined leadership roles, training, and applied experiences, student leaders are responsible for executing their responsibilities while also supporting the development of their peers. These experiences reinforce competencies in communication, collaboration, and decision-making, ensuring that leadership development remains central to the student experience.
