Kean University Offers
Workshop for Starting Businesses
UNION, N.J. The Small Business Development Center of Kean
University will present a free seminar titled Legal Aspects of
Forming a Business on Friday, March 7, 2003, from 9 a.m. to
noon at the Community Education Center, 209 West 2nd Street, Plainfield,
N.J.
The workshop, conducted by Richard Weller, Esq., of Greenbaum, Rowe,
Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel, LLP, of Woodbridge, N.J., will
address the numerous laws that affect the formation of a business.
It will help attendees to understand how to select, set up and document
various business entities including sole proprietorships, general
partnerships, limited-liability companies and professional-service
corporations.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the United Trust Bank in Plainfield,
N.J. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made

networking purposes.
