Kean University Offers Workshop on State Taxes for Small Businesses
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center
of Kean University will present a free seminar titled Small Business
State Taxes Workshop, on Tuesday, August 12, from 9:30 a.m. to noon
at the Elizabeth Public Library Auditorium, 11 S. Broad St., Elizabeth,
N.J.
The workshop, conducted by representatives of the N.J. Division of Taxation,
will address how to handle state taxes for all business activities. Included
will be information on registration, income-tax withholding and sales
tax.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the Elizabeth Public Library and the Greater
Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures
for networking purposes.
