Kean University Offers Workshop on State Taxes for Small Businesses
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center
of Kean University will present a free seminar titled Small Business
State Taxes Workshop, on Friday, September 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. at the Elizabeth Public Library Auditorium, 11 S. Broad Street in
Elizabeth, N.J.
The workshop, conducted by representatives of the N.J. Division of Taxation,
will address how to handle state taxes for all business activities. Included
will be information on registration, income-tax withholding and sales
tax.
The seminar is cosponsored by the Elizabeth Public Library and the Greater
Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce. Special arrangements for people with disabilities
can be made upon request. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures
for networking purposes.
