Kean University Offers Workshop for Becoming an Entrepreneur
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will present a free seminar titled Are You an Entrepreneur? on Friday, January 17, 2003, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the school’s East Campus, Room 158A, North Avenue, Hillside, N.J.
The free workshop, conducted by Penni K. Nafus, director of the Women’s Business Center, New Jersey Association of Women’s Business Owners, will provide an overview on the issues involved in starting a new business, including personality, business knowledge, appropriate timing, selecting a location and financing.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the Union County Economic Development Corporation. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made upon request. The fee includes coffee and danish. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures for networking purposes.
