Kean University Seminar
Will Address Issues of Starting a Small Service Business
UNION, N.J. The Small Business Development Center of Kean University
will present a seminar entitled Starting Your Small Service Business on
Thursday, February 27, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the schools East
Campus, Room 158A, 215 North Avenue, Hillside, N.J.
Conducted by Roger Cohen, president of Cohen International of Old Tappan,
N.J., the workshop will provide a general overview of service, the legal
structure of company types, business plans, market research, marketing
and sales, operations, support, timing, and establishing your domain.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the Kean University Center for Continuing
and Professional Education. There is a fee of $15 per person or $20 for
two. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made upon
request. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures for networking
purposes.
