Kean University Offers Workshop on Marketing Your Web Site
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will present a workshop titled Marketing Your Web Site on Thursday, April 24, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the University’s East Campus, Room 158 A, North Avenue, Hillside, N.J.
This workshop, conducted by Nat Bender, director of E-Business
Services for the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers, will explain
how to make a Web site an effective marketing tool for business, including
how to integrate Internet marketing with other business practices; examine
how well retail customer service and fulfillment activities deliver on
the promise of a Web site; and how to offer services and value-added features
to customers, such as online newsletters or regular content updates. Business
owners will also learn to analyze whether their Web site is "search-engine
friendly," and examine cultivating link-swapping opportunities and
online collaboration to build traffic and cross-merchandising with business
partners.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Kean University Division of Continuing
and Professional Education. There is a $15 fee per person or $20 for two.
