Kean University Offers Summer Tutorial
Program for Grammar Students
UNION, N.J – Kean University’s Reading Clinic will again offer its summer tutorial program in reading and math on Wednesday and Thursday, June 25 and 26, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., respectively. Open to students in grades 2 through 8, the program will evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each participant by administering reading and math tests. Remediation will be based on the assessment. Taught by certified teachers, the workshop will include computer-based reading and math activities that reinforce each lesson. Classes will also be held Tuesdays and Thursdays in July. Reading will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, and mathematics from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information or to register, please call Dr. Davida Schuman at 908-737-3934.
