Kean University Offers Workshop on Effective Business Planning
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center of Kean University
will offer a workshop, titled The Effective Business Plan, on
Wednesday, February 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at the school's East Campus,
Room 158 A, 215 North Avenue in Hillside, N.J.
This workshop, conducted by Joseph L. Rosenberg, a CPA based in Florham Park, N.J., will focus
on the importance of an effective business plan, including those factors that investors and
lenders look for, and the basic plan components, such as the executive summary, business
facts, projected management and personnel, marketing strategy and proposed location.
Rosenberg will also discuss the pertinent financial data, including the P&L, balance sheet
and the cash-flow projection, as well as the supporting documentation.
This workshop is sponsored by the Union County Economic Development Corp. (UCEDC).
The fee is $15 per person or $20 for two. Special arrangements for people with
disabilities can be made upon request. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures
