Kean University Offers Workshop in Spanish on Starting a Business
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will offer a four-part workshop in Spanish titled Start Right, on successive Saturdays, beginning on March 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at the school’s East Campus, Room 158 A, 215 North Avenue in Hillside, N.J.
This workshop, conducted by representatives from the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO), will run a total of 12 hours and will explain how to open a business in the format of preparing a formal written business plan. Legal, marketing, accounting and financing issues are all addressed in depth, as well as techniques to make the project happen.
This workshop is co-sponsored by NJAWBO and the Union County Economic
Development Corp.
There is a fee of $96 for all four sessions. Special arrangements for
people with disabilities can be made upon request. Be sure to bring business
cards and brochures for networking purposes.
