Kean University Offers Workshop on State Taxes for Small Businesses
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will present a free seminar titled State Taxes and Small Business, on Thursday, March 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Elizabeth Public Library, 11 S. Broad Street, Elizabeth, N.J.
The workshop, conducted by representatives of the New Jersey Division
of Taxation, will address how to handle state taxes for all business activities.
Included will be information on registration, income-tax withholding and
sales tax.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Division of Taxation, the
Elizabeth Public Library, the New Jersey Association of Women Business
Owners (NJAWBO) of Hamilton, N.J., and the Elizabeth Public Library and
the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce. Special arrangements for people
with disabilities can be made upon request. Be sure to bring business
cards and brochures for networking purposes.
