New Shanghai Circus at Kean University
UNION, N.J. – On Friday, March 19, at 7 p.m., the New Shanghai Circus
brings The Incredible Acrobats of China to the stage at Wilkins
Theatre, Kean University, 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J.
Born out of a tradition dating back 2,500 years, the circus combines artistry
with athleticism and dazzles audiences with amazing feats performed with
utmost grace. These rigorously trained and superbly talented performers
thrill and delight adults and youngsters alike with contortion, plate-spinning
and traditional dragon dancers.
The New Shanghai Circus has garnered more awards than any other acrobatic
troupe in existence and has been hailed all over the world for their thrilling
show. The New York Times raved, “Literally breathtaking
heights of skill…entertainment in abundance.”
Tickets are $15 for the public; $11 for seniors and alumni; and $9 for
