The Unsinkable Molly Brown Arrives at Kean University
UNION, N.J. So long, Dolly! Move over, Mame! Make way for the
biggest of Broadway's "big ladies," in The Unsinkable Molly
Brown, which will be presented by Windwood Theatricals at Kean University’s
Wilkins Theatre, 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J. on Sunday, March 21,
at 3 p.m.
This spirited tale of a legendary, real-life American original follows
the exploits of Molly Brown, whose feisty determination to rise above
her impoverished beginnings leads her from the backwoods of Hannibal,
Mo., to the palaces of Europe. Along the way, she marries a lucky prospector,
enters the highest echelons of Monte Carlo society, survives the sinking
of the Titanic and, most importantly, earns the approval she so desperately
seeks of those "Beautiful People of Denver."
The Unsinkable Molly Brown has charmed Broadway and film audiences
with its irresistible, outrageous title role and its rousing score, written
by Meredith Willson, who was also responsible for the immortal The
Music Man. With songs such as I Ain't Down Yet, Belly Up To The
Bar Boys, Colorado, My Home and I'll Never Say No, The Unsinkable
Molly Brown is funny, light, uplifting and uniquely American.
Windwood Theatricals, established in 2000 by veteran agent Paul Bartz,
represents an eclectic blend of mainstream theatrical properties that
have been produced on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in regional theaters

photographs are available upon request. For further information, to order
