Kean University Offers Workshop on Financing Your Small Business
UNION, N.J. – – The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of Kean University will host a free workshop, titled Financing Your Small Business, on Wednesday, April 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Elizabeth Public Library, 11 South Broad Street in Elizabeth, N.J.
Conducted by Nathaniel Sims, assistant director of the SBDC of Kean University, this workshop will explain how to obtain financing for a small business, whether it is established or a start-up. Sims will discuss the various loan programs available to small-business owners and their general requirements, as well as how to properly approach a lender for maximum success.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Elizabeth Public Library, Elizabeth Development Co. and the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made upon request. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures for networking purposes.
