Kean Dance Theatre Spring Concert
UNION, N.J. – – Kean Dance Theatre (KDT) will present its annual spring dance concert, Bodies in Motion, on Friday, March 26, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 27, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., at Wilkins Theatre, 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J.
KDT is a multicultural student-based company whose members share a common
interest in creating and performing theatrically entertaining and thought-provoking
dances. Under the artistic direction of Luis Martinez, assistant professor
in the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Health, this year’s
concert will feature various forms of dance: traditional modern and jazz
as well as Afro-Caribbean, Latin-American, Asian, Hip-Hop and more. The
wide-ranging compositions have been choreographed by faculty, students
and guest artists from New Jersey and New York City.
Tickets are $8 for the public; $7 for seniors and alumni; and $6 for students
and children. Black-and-white and color photographs are available upon
