Kean University's Affiliate
Artists Showcase Music from the Stage
UNION, N.J. – – Chase away the winter blues in the company of Kean University’s affiliate artists who will gather to conclude the 2003-04 concert season with a Springtime Showcase on Monday, April 19, at 8 p.m. in Wilkins Theatre, 1000 Morris Ave., Union, N.J.
Kean University is privileged to employ world-renowned chamber musicians as affiliate artists and professors who enthrall music lovers with special concerts and students with an outstanding opportunity to learn from the best. The last in a series of four events, Music from the Stage will feature works from Broadway and opera in chamber-music arrangements, including the world premiere of Music by Kurt Weill, an arrangement written especially for Kean’s affiliate artists by Latin Grammy winner, Carlos Franzetti.
Tickets are $10 for the public; $8 for alumni, faculty, staff and seniors;
$6 for students and children, and may be reserved by calling the Wilkins
