Kean University Offers Workshop on State Taxes for Small Businesses
UNION, N.J. – –The Small Business Development Center of Kean
University will present a free seminar, titled Small Business State
Taxes Workshop, on Thursday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the
PNC-United Trust Community Center, 209 West Second Street, Plainfield,
N.J.
The workshop, conducted by representatives of the New Jersey Division
of Taxation, will address how to handle state taxes for all business activities.
Included will be information on registration, income-tax withholding and
sales tax.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Association of Women Business
Owners (NJAWBO) of Hamilton, N.J., and PNC-United Trust Bank. Be sure
to bring business cards and brochures for networking purposes.
