Kean University Offers Workshop on Monopolizing the Marketplace

UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will present a seminar titled Monopolize Your Marketplace, on Wednesday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kenilworth Veterans of Foreign Wars, 33 South 21st Street, Kenilworth, N.J.

The workshop, conducted by Joe Cavell and Tom Hinz, principal consultants for Y2 Marketing, an international marketing firm operating in 41 states and Canada, will address how to solve several of the main sales and marketing challenges facing small businesses today. Cavell and Hinz will discuss topics such as the techniques which ensure that prospects seek a particular business first, the benefits of communicating selling advantages in compelling terms, the elimination of price competition and the systemization of sales procedures. They will also help attendees create advertising materials for their marketing campaigns.

There is a fee of $20 per person, which includes literature and refreshments. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made upon request. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures for networking purposes.
