Kean University Offers Workshop on Financing a Small Business
UNION, N.J. ––The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will host a free workshop, titled Financing Your Small Business, on Wednesday, February 2, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.. on the University’s East Campus, Room 158 A, at 215 North Avenue in Hillside, N.J.
Conducted by representatives from various public and private loan programs, this workshop will explain how to obtain financing for a small business, whether it is established or a start-up. They will discuss the various loan programs available to small-business owners and their general requirements, as well as how to properly approach a lender for maximum success.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority; the Elizabeth Development Company; and the UCEDC. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made upon request. Be sure to bring business cards and brochures for networking purposes.
