Mad Science® Takes Over at Kean University
UNION, N.J. –Mad Science will invite audiences
on a one-hour journey through the amazing technological advancements of
the film industry in Movie Magic: The Science Behind the Movies
at Kean University’s Wilkins Theatre on Friday, February 4, at 7
p.m.
This dazzling, interactive stage show invites audiences to step into
any one of four MGM movies such as Legally Blonde, Agent Cody Banks,
Pink Panther or Rocky!, and presents a show that will offer children
an unparalleled educational entertainment experience. Characters Crash
and Professor Pruvitt will present a hands-on introduction to movie science,
with the audience assisting with production as sound mixers and gaffers
as well as lighting, camera and special-effects operators, or even actors
and movie directors. Working together, each participant will take part
in creating a short movie using the very latest in Hollywood technology.
Mad Science is the world’s leading fun science brand, with entertaining
and engaging activities that spark children’s imaginations with
presentations across 20 countries and five continents. Special effects,
cool science and hilarious antics guarantee a refreshing and memorable
experience for any child.
This show is recommended for children aged 7 to 14. Wilkins Theatre is
located at 1000 Morris Avenue in Union, N.J. Tickets are $15 for the general
