Kean Dance Theatre to Present Annual Concert
UNION, N.J. ––Kean Dance Theatre (KDT) will present its annual spring dance concert, Dimensions of Dance, on Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, April 3, at 3 p.m., at Kean University’s Wilkins Theatre, located at 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J.
KDT is a multicultural student-based company whose members create and
perform theatrically entertaining and thought-provoking dances. This year’s
performance will feature culturally diverse and inspiring dances for all
ages ranging across several movement styles, including contemporary modern,
jazz, Afro-Caribbean, and much more. The event will include a presentation
by the youth company, New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble, as well as premiers
and repertory pieces choreographed by faculty, students and guest artists
from the Garden State and New York City.
Tickets are $8 for the public; $7 for seniors and alumni; and $6 for students
and children. Black-and-white and color photographs are available upon
