FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Eight Graduate Students Showcase Their Art At Kean University Exhibit UNION, N.J. –Kean University and the Graduate Association of Fine Artists are proud to announce the opening of VIII on Saturday, April 2, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the James Howe Gallery in the Vaughn-Eames Hall lobby on the main campus at 1000 Morris Avenue in Union, N.J. The exhibit will run through May 10. Admission is free. The title VIII reflects the work of eight graduate students who will exhibit a broad range of work and techniques, including ceramics, collage, metalworking, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. The eight student-artists and their hometowns are listed below: Barbra Beckett, Manasquan, N.J. – Mixed Media/Book
Construction VIII is the culmination of two to three years of intense graduate-level work. The exhibition is remarkable because of the cohesiveness of the work on display which incorporates a broad range of personalities and disciplines.
