Kean University Offers Workshop on Preparing Bonding Packages
UNION, N.J. –The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will present a workshop, titled Bonding Package Preparation, on Wednesday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce, located at 135 Jefferson Avenue in Elizabeth, N.J.
This seminar, conducted by Charles Jackson, director of outreach programs for New Jersey Small Business Development Centers, will assist small-business owners in preparing paperwork for their businesses to become bonded. Surety, bid and performance bonds are required by a host of government and private corporations when seeking construction and service contracts. Among the topics to be covered, it will explain in detail the documentation needed to prepare a surety bond application.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, there is a $25 registration fee which is being covered by the Small Business Association Surety Bond Associates.
