Kean Dance Theatre to Present Annual Concert
UNION, N.J. - Kean Dance Theatre (KDT) will present its annual spring dance concert, entitled Rhythms, Form and Motion , on Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, April 15, at 2 p.m. in Wilkins Theatre.
The performances celebrate a diverse selection of musical styles with dances choreographed by Kean University dance instructors Luis Martinez, KDT artistic director, and Dawud Jackson, who serves as assistant director. Also showcased is New York City guest chorographer Jennifer Archibald, as well as Kean student choreographers. The production will feature a broad mix of dance forms including modern/ballet, jazz, contemporary urban, musical theatre and Latin dances. KDT strives to reach out to its community by performing culturally rich and theatrically entertaining dances that can be enjoyed by all viewers.
