Kean University Hosts Two-day Statewide ACDA
Choir Festival for High School Students
UNION, N.J. - On May 2 and 3, 1,000 high school students from across the state will embark upon the Kean University campus in Union to sing their hearts out in the annual American Choral Directors Association's competition for New Jersey high school choirs. The festive event will take place in Wilkins Theatre located at 1000 Morris Avenue in Union, N.J. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. in the Wilkins Theatre Lobby. The choirs will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, whom ACDA brings to the festival.
The May 2 schedule is as follows:
9:40 a.m. Bridgewater-Raritan Women's Choir
10 a.m. Northern Valley Regional High School Chorus (Wednesday morning only)
10:20 a.m. Rutgers Preparatory School Madrigal Singers (Wednesday only)
10:40 a.m. Bridegwater-Raritan Chamber Choir
11 a.m. Arts High School Advanced Mixed Chorus
11:20 a.m. BREAK
11:30 a.m. South Brunswick High School Concert Choir
11:50 a.m. Allentown High School Concert Choir
12:10 p.m. Bridgewater-Raritan Concert Choir
12:30 p.m. Central Regional Concert Choir
