Kean University Offers Workshop on Procurement Counseling
UNION, N.J. – The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will host a free seminar, entitled Procurement Counseling: Successfully Selling to Federal, State and Local Government, on Tuesday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kean University Small Business Development Center, located in The Incubator, at 320 Park Avenue in Plainfield, N.J.
Guests will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with procurement specialists from the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers. Whether guests are experienced or just beginning to explore the possibilities of selling to the government, these experts can answer their questions.
Specialists can explain certifications for Woman or Minority-Owned Business, registering as a State Small Business Enterprise, and the ways to obtain government bids. They will also address how and what the government buys, as well as complete government proposals and RFP’s.
