Kean University to Host a Lecture for Adults Living with Communication Disabilities
UNION - Kean Universityís Institute for Adults Living with Communication Disabilities will host a lecture on The Top Ten Questions to Ask Your Pharmacist on Thursday, June 5 at 10:45 a.m. in the East Campus Building, located at 215 North Avenue in Union. Dr. Evelyn Hermes Desantis, a pharmacist with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, will speak. The event is free and open to the public.
The Institute for Adults Living with Communication Disabilities operates four days per week and offers expanded speech, language and rehabilitation support services to adults suffering from aphasia, dysarthria, voice disorders, Parkinsonís disease and head injuries. Patients and their caregivers receive individual and group speech-language therapy, specialized training programs and participate in counseling support groups.
