Kean University Offers Workshop on Utilizing Web Technology for Small Businesses
The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will offer a free workshop, entitled Going From Onstage To Online, Leveraging The New Wave Of Technology To Create Opportunity For You And Your Small Business, on Wednesday, October 15, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Springfield Free Public Library, located at 66 Mountain Avenue in Springfield, N.J.
This workshop, conducted by Jack Gottlieb, president of The Total Solutions, Group, Inc., in Jackson, N.J., will teach small business owners how to use live streaming video and Internet broadcast technology to take their businesses to the next level. Gottlieb will cover the three components to the 21st century business economy, including results, not time economy; information, not industrial economy; and experience, not service economy. He will also discuss how to take real action right now. Attendees will send a video e-mail, participate in an actual live broadcast on the Internet, and implement interactive Weblinks to promote their business or services.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Springfield Free Public Library. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made upon request.
