Kean University to Host Second Annual FAFSA Jamboree
UNION, N.J. - The Department of Student Financial Services at Kean University will host the 2010 FAFSA Jamboree on Sunday, June 6, from noon to 4 p.m. in the University Center, located on the Kean campus at 1000 Morris Avenue in Union, N.J.
Sponsored by New Jersey's College Access Challenge Grant, the second annual event will familiarize students with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All high school seniors are encouraged to attend. “I am pleased to invite local high school seniors and their families to come and receive free financial aid guidance from dedicated professionals in the field,” said Charlie Xu, director of Student Financial Services at Kean University.
This informative event will feature a free barbecue, entertainment and giveaways, including free T-shirts for all guests.
