Student Organization, the full-time undergraduate governing body at Kean, is
one of the most unique and reputable in the country. As an autonomous entity,
Student Organization has become a progressive active force, known for its input
in student life. The organization maintains an operating budget of over a half-million
dollars and a full-time professional staff of three. Comprised of elected student
officers receptive to the needs of all Kean University students, the organization
strives to enhance the scholastic, cultural, and social environment of Kean
University, as well as to promote student involvement in the development of
all areas of student life on campus. Student Organization funds approximately
30 clubs, special projects and programs, in addition to academic and social
activities for the students at Kean.
