Personal Information
I was born in Maracay, Venezuela, which is a small city 100 miles west from Caracas. I love teaching since I was a kid. I remember explaining math to my classmates in high school and in college, where I enjoyed looking for ways to explain “difficult materials”. It was not until I graduated from IESA (MBA) that I discovered researching. I participate in some projects as research assistant and then I decided to work in academia.
My hobby is baseball. Although, I do not have a favorite team in the U.S., I follow major league baseball: watch games, check results in newspapers, teams’ websites, etc.
