About Rich

Rich is the CEO of InfoWerx Software, Inc. a global software development company with offices located in the United States, India, and Africa. Over the past 23 years, he has held executive positions in sales, finance, operations at Miller Brewing, A.G. Edwards, AT&T, Norstan, and AIG.  Most recently, Rich was VP and GM at AIG Technologies (a wholly owned subsidiary of the American International Group), where he was responsible for creating a new profit center to develop and sell insurance-related enterprise software solutions and information technology services.

Rich began his career as an account executive with the Miller Brewing Company.  As a healthcare economist at AT&T in the mid-1990's, he was one of the primary architects of the largest change in AT&T's history to its medical, dental, and vision benefits programs.  The transition of $1.3 billion in annual health benefits, from indemnity insurance coverage to managed care programs, affected over 300,000 employees and retirees and remains in place today.  In 1998, Rich joined Norstan as Director of Consulting, where he was responsible for establishing the company's  IT consulting practice for telcom customers.  In 2002, he was recruited by AIG to start up AIG Technologies.

Rich is a graduate of William Paterson University, where he received a BA degree in Economics, and Rutgers University, where he received a MS degree in labor and industrial relations, with an emphasis on labor economics.  He has also completed post-graduate studies in statistics at Columbia University.  Rich is an active member of the Society for Information Management (SIM), the foremost society in the US for senior Information Technology executives.
